“This is the first part of the audiovisual story of my debut album, "as it is," released Nov. 15th, 2024. The album circulates around stories of grief and transformation and was recorded primarily to tape, inspiring the rawness of this project and the decision to film the majority of this project on 16mm. "Headlights," in its entirety, is a song about self-discovery and change; following my move to Austin in 2016. This iteration follows a journey of self-realization in the new world I found myself in during my year in Barcelona, Spain. There are the moments behind the wheel of my life and the times I find myself in the backseat, both moving down the road of my reality, not always sure where it leads”
